FCC Construcción has taken part in Spain’s most important sustainability event, the 14th edition of Forética’s ESG Spain 2026 Corporate Sustainability Forum. By participating in this leading business event on sustainability in Spain, FCC Construcción has reaffirmed its leadership and strategic commitment to environmental, social and governance issues.

During the event, held in Madrid under a theme focusing on competitiveness, technology and new regulatory frameworks for sustainability, the company highlighted the need to transform the infrastructure sector through sustainable innovation, decarbonisation and the responsible management of resources.

As a partner of Forética and a global leader in infrastructure, FCC Construcción outlined at this forum the key elements of its Sustainability Strategy, designed to have a positive impact on the communities in which it operates. Among the main areas of action presented were: environmental sustainability, advances in the use of recycled materials, the circular economy on site, the reduction of the carbon footprint and the protection of biodiversity in large-scale projects. Social impact and people, with a focus on fostering safe, diverse and inclusive working environments – recently reaffirmed by the renewal of the Diversity Charter (2026–2027) – as well as the promotion of local talent. Good governance and integrity, consolidating a robust ethical framework aligned with international standards and the growing body of European regulation on corporate sustainability reporting (CSRD).
